In your book you say on page 161 "I was hoping to look less Jewish. Thought I'm not....."
So from that statement I assume you are not Jewish.

Why could you not tell all the people in your films who wanted to know when you can tell your book readers?

Probably because not answering the question "Are you Jewish" makes for better t.v, and the people who really take an interest in whether or not he is Jewish will take the time to read his book.

No he did not answer it because he does not believe your religion matters to who you are as a person. He did not answer whether he was Jewish or not because in some ways that would be condoning the discriminatory actions of the Nazis.

He did answer, you have to listen AND understand.
Also he´s stated lots of times that he´s an atheist. (well, there is something...)
